There’s plenty for families to discover across 100 acres of beautiful gardens. Run free on the Imaginary Menagerie play trail, picnic in the shaded woodlands, meet the wildlife that make Hillsborough their home and more! Then treat yourself to a delicious drink, cake or lunch from the popular café

Throughout the summer you can also experience the Peter Rabbit™ Adventure, a magical garden trail bringing to life Beatrix Potter’s beloved characters.

Pack your picnic baskets, grab your sun hats and join us for a summer of fun and exploration. Don’t miss out – Hillsborough Castle’s gardens await your little explorers.

Terms and Conditions

  • Valid 29 June to 01 September 2024, excluding 24-26 August 2024.
  • 3 free child gardens tickets (5-15 years of age) for each full priced adult or disabled concession ticket, or with each individual or joint member visit (under 5s receive free access to Hillsborough Castle and Garden all year round, separate to this offer).
  • Free tickets are for the gardens only, not for castle visits. The offer is not available to senior concession or full time student 18+ concession tickets.
  • The offer isn’t valid with any other promotions or offers, including £1 universal credit tickets.
